Asif Masood - Company Director

Career Profile

This concept is being headed up by Mr Masood, a former Pakistani International Cricket player. Mr Masood was a right-arm fast-medium bowler, hostile with the ball and memorable for his bizarre start to his run-up in which he turned sideways to the wickets and leaned backwards before starting his approach. Making his Test debut against England in 1968-69 he went on to play a further 16 tests over the next seven years touring England and Australia, with a best return of 5 for 111 at Edgbaston in 1971.

Mr Masood then went on to be a regional manager for Pakistani International Airlines, a position which he held for over 30 years, this position carried many responsibilities and gave Mr Masood vast experience working in higher management.

Mr Masood went on to start up in business with his family running Fishpool Post Office and General Store in Bury Lancs, he has been running this operation for the past 13 years in the past year he has also added Fishpool Pharmacy to the operation which has proved to be very successful.

With approximately 5 staff working under him Mr Masood has gained essential man management skills and is heavily involved in the daily running and operation of all three parts of the business.

Having met with the Taxi association in Manchester Mr Masood has had extremely positive feedback on this project, many of the drivers have shown keen interest in using this product stating the benefits as being the cost, the reduced affect on the environment and also the beneficial properties this product has to the engines of the vehicles themselves.
